Hi, I am Christylynn Wesner, and I am 30 weeks pregnant. I joined the Slay Squad because I had traveled a lot during the first trimester, and I realized I needed some help to get back into my routine when I stopped traveling. So I reached out to the Slay Squad, and I needed to get into some rhythm.
What really has helped me is getting into a good, solid routine, getting back into my nutrition, getting back into my fitness regime, because that is very important to me and my family. We have very firm beliefs in staying healthy and having that lifestyle.
So it’s been good to help me because with baby number three on the way and working part-time with a busy schedule for my family, it’s been awesome to be able to have not just an app to alert and remind me to do the healthy things that I need to for that specific day, but also a coach to check in on you to make sure, like, how are these workouts? Do you need to get harder workouts? Do you need to take a step back in your pregnancy?
For me personally, I was working out consistently before traveling, so it was more about when I got back—needing to keep up with the traveling. So Chelsey has been super great at making sure that I can keep my standards and level of intensity throughout this pregnancy, so that way I can bounce back faster, hopefully not have as many symptoms, and stay happier for my kids and my husband as we wait for our next little, tiny one.
But I would definitely recommend this for anyone that’s even already in a healthy lifestyle, like I was, that just needed the extra accountability. Accountability is huge. So hopefully you guys can get the help that you need with that accountability like I did.
