Hello everybody. My name is Alexis, and I have been working with the Slay Squad now for three months. Chelsey is my coach, and I have had a wonderful experience with them so far. Just to give you, like a little background about my experience with other programs, I had never done a virtual program before. I was actually very nervous.

Well, I shouldn’t say that—I’ve done Weight Watchers before, but I’ve never done like a workout program that’s virtual. So I was a little nervous going into it, just because I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to keep up with it. But Chelsey was so great at accommodating my schedule and just making it so easy to fit the workouts in my day. And she was able to give me all sorts of different workouts. I do have a knee issue, so being able to switch out certain things so I don’t ever hurt my knee. And then my gym is very limited in terms of what they offer there. So also, you know, just being really, really flexible in what works for me, what works for my schedule, the gym that I go to, and, yeah, so I’ve also been a fitness instructor before. So I have had personal trainers before, but this is completely different, because you get the one-on-one access, whereas with a trainer, sometimes you just see them, like once a week, right? But Chelsey, I get Voxer access too, so I can talk to her almost every day. She holds me accountable.

One thing that I really wanted to do was to stop drinking alcohol because I wanted to increase my sleep. And, of course, like, you know, do less carbs, less sugar, and just overall feel well. So she was holding me accountable for that. I went weeks without drinking. And overall, the program was very easy to follow. There’s an app that you can use, and I love that you can put in your reps so you can see, so you can beat yourself week over week, which is super, super awesome.

So ending results, right? So I ended up losing about five pounds, but what really, really helped was I lost a lot of inches, so my before and after pictures are killer. I feel so good. I went on vacation and I felt absolutely amazing, and I am going to continue working with them for, you know, the months to come. I’m super, super excited, and I can’t say enough about how great the girls are. Having the big group chat and the Voxer also works too because it really helps—it holds you accountable and makes you feel like you’re not alone when you’re struggling with like, “What should I eat tonight?” or “I wasn’t able to do this exercise, what should I do?” So you get a ton of support there too.
