This is Chelsey with Slay Squad online fitness coaching and Phoenix personal training. Today I want to talk a little bit about something that makes us unique and helps women so much with staying consistent with their weight loss and fitness journeys. And that is having a supportive community. You definitely can start your fitness journey alone, but usually sustaining your journey, sticking with something is the hardest part. Anyone can start, anyone can see, you know, a small level of results. Many women lose weight, but gain it all back. Many women start healthy lifestyle, but they’re truly starting over and quitting over and over and over again. And what I have learned through years of my own fitness journey and years of coaching women is that who you surround yourself with, the community that is in front of you, is so critical because you are absolutely gonna become just like the people that you spend the majority of time with, and the influences that you surround yourself with. So with the Sleigh Squad, with Phoenix Personal Training and our online nutrition coaching, we have done a lot to create both an online community and an in-person community that is ever growing to create that supportive group for women. And many coaching programs claim to have a community. But by community, they simply mean a group chat. Sometimes it’s not even very active. So it’s not what I would consider a true supportive community. When we say community, we mean people that actually want to get to know you personally. They want to get to know your goals and struggles. They want to follow you on socials, communicate there. They want to meet up with you in real life. They wanna work out together. They want to go to dinner together. They want to come and support you on your different events and adventures in life. Many of our clients that have businesses are supported by women in our community, they made lifeline friendships in this community. They’ve grown new careers as a result of this community. Um, so much um, goes on behind the scenes that, yes, we help women lose weight and get in the best shape of their lives, but a big piece of how we do this is the supportive community, the women that are going to lift you up and just help you grow and the friendships that you’re going to make along the way that are going to help you so much with that. So with the Slay Squad coaching and Phoenix personal training in our online nutrition coaching, this is something we have worked hard to develop over time. It didn’t happen. immediately, definitely. Excuse me, it didn’t happen overnight. But we have created something truly special that helps people stay grounded. So a few things we do to grow this community is one, obviously, our online channel, so everyone in the program is put in a chat where the women are just super supportive. They can share struggles, wins, when they hit their goal, meal ideas, things that are helping them on their journey. Another thing we do is biweekly zoom calls with our whole community and we absolutely love these. These are either community calls where everyone has a chance to speak, introduce themselves, talk, get to know one another. We go through winds, struggles, and other people in the coaching community that have been successful can help people that are newer with whatever they’re struggling with and we can just be there to support everybody. The coaches attend these calls, the clients, we have ambassadors that attend these calls, and the calls have become a really important part of what we do. We also do education on these calls where we educate on different nutritional topics, mindset work, things just to keep people motivated, keep people showing up. And those in-person calls really do make a difference. We can serve people all over the world because what we do as far as the coaching piece is all done online. However, we do make a big effort to get people together in person because really, meeting people in person, nothing will ever trump that. The online community is great. Follow each other’s on socials is great. Being a part of all that is wonderful, but whenever we coaches get the chance, we’re meeting up with people in person. We do several big events throughout the year in which some of our clients even fly in from out of state and we all, like, they get an Airbnb together. They stayed together. It’s really developed these lifelong friendships. And then we are based in Arizona. So anyone that lives in Arizona, we’ve created our own little chat now where we are doing bi-monthly meetups. And some of those people have gotten to know each other, become friends, and even hang out outside that. And in our bimonthly meetups, this is a time where us coaches can hang out with our clients in real life because we truly care about getting to know you. We don’t just care about the coaching piece. Yes, our main goal objective is that you lose weight. You see results. You get what you want out of the program. However, we want to get to know you on that personal level. We want to care about you on that deeper level because ultimately these relationships run yourself with these people, that is going to take you so far. If you make friendships with other people in our squad that are doing what you’re trying to do, that are people that are committed to their goals, that are people that hold themselves to a higher standard, you’re gonna start noticing, you hold yourself to a higher standard. Things feel a little bit easier. If you look at the 5 people that are closest to you in your life, your habits, your lifestyle, the things that you do are often going to mimic them. I’ve seen this in my own life when I started to get into fitness and weight training that my closest couple friends started to get into it with me. It took them a little bit of time. Um, but they did, and it was never something I tried to get them to do. They just wanted to join me at the gym. And then it became something that they did. So the way that you choose your community, your circle is so important, especially for women. Throughout the slice squad of fakes, personal training and online nutrition coaching, we’ve really created that model that allows the coaching to be custom and one-on-one. So you’re working one on one with your coach. And that is obviously the most important aspect of the journey. However, 2nd to that is plugging in, getting involved, being a part of something. And if you do those 2 things, if you’re accountable to your coach and then you pour into the community, even if you have to virtually, you absolutely will be successful because not only are you allowing yourself to be, to follow the program, to be held accountable by a coach, to have stuff that’s custom made, a program that is custom made for you, with your specific lifestyle goals. Um, and things going on in your life, but you’re also combining that with surrounding yourself with people that are trying to do exactly what you are trying to do. Everyone in our program, with exception of a very select view, women are trying to lose weight. We have a couple trying to gain, build muscle, but that is definitely the minority. Almost everyone in our program needs to lose weight, whether that’s £10 or £15, £30 over £100, we have it all. We’ve helped women do all of that. So no matter where you’re at on your journey, you are going to find somebody that is going through the same things as you or that has been there and has achieved the goal, which is sometimes even better, because they know what it feels like to be you, to be in your shoes, and they are proof. They can be proof to you an inspiration to you, that you can do this. Surrounding yourself with those people is so critical, especially, especially for the women that don’t necessarily have that in their circle. Some people do amazing without a big community aspect in coaching because they have the support at home or in their friend group. But many people don’t. Many people’s friend groups are a little more toxic or, you know, maybe they’re great people, but they’re just not healthy at all. They’re not people that you necessarily want to be like. So you need to get in the right community, get in the right circle to surround yourself with people that you actually do want to be like. You do want to move, like, you do want to try to get a little bit of the way that they think into your head, and that’s gonna happen through community. So with Slay Squad, online coaching and Phoenix Personal Training, we’ve been able to create that. And it’s something that people love, they crave, when they leave their program, they’re like, 0 my gosh, I even miss it. Sometimes people stay in longer and I know a huge piece of that is not wanting to leave the community, being a part of something that really helps you in every possible way. It’s not just physical. Like, yes, you’re going to lose weight. Yes, you’re going to look better. All those things, but you’re also going to develop friendships. You’re also gonna feel supported emotionally. We have people that were in the program years ago, got great transformations, are no longer in the program. They’ve gone solo after achieving their transformation, and I still see them as friends, hanging out on social media, meeting up, supporting one another, and that just makes me so happy that our program has done that has brought women together, has allowed them to find that true community. And some women stay involved in our community. They come to meet up, they come to events, even once their program is done, and that’s the goal. We want those lifelong connections, community friendships, because we truly care about our clients, our clients care about one another, and that ultimately is what you need. You need a coach, of course, that’s going to hold you to a standard, tell you what to do, give you the program, but you also need that person to truly care about you, and you need a community that truly cares about you, and that is something that makes us different, makes us special and unique. Um, one of my goals this year with the program is to continue to lean into that community aspect and build that community. So if you’re interested in getting involved, not only with losing weight, getting in the best shape for your life with a coach, but you also wouldn’t be part of a movement of women just really designed to uplift you and hold you to that next standard makes him new friends. You need to join Slate Squad with our Phoenix personal training and nutrition coaching.
