Heba
Absolutely, yeah. Thanks for meeting me. And truly, thank you—not just for introducing me to the program, but for everything these past six months. It’s honestly been life-changing. I don’t think I can even do it justice, even if I talked for an hour straight. Whether it’s the program itself, the apps, the coaches—every part of it has transformed my life.
I’m so happy to hear that! You’re glowing, and your smile says it all. That just makes me smile, too.
Thank you! I’ll try to keep this short since I know you’re working. So, my name is Heba and I’m from a little town outside of Toronto called Milton, Ontario—about 40 minutes outside the city.
Why did I join the Slay Squad? Honestly, I’ve struggled a lot over the past 8 to 10 years with my weight—and not just that, but also mentally. I felt unmotivated and unhappy in my own body. I was always tired. I have an office job, so I sit all day, and my back constantly hurt. I’ve tried so many different programs—gyms, Zumba, keto, everything. But nothing ever stuck. Nothing kept me consistent or held me accountable, and I really struggled. When you and I last spoke, I knew something had to change. I needed to take control of my life and prioritize myself. Like so many busy women, I was always putting everything else—work, house, life—first. I was at that breaking point where I knew I had to end that cycle. This program came into my life at exactly the time I needed it most.
In the past six months, it’s truly been life-changing. I’ve lost 18 pounds, which is honestly the most I’ve ever lost. And it wasn’t fast or drastic—it was gradual and sustainable. That’s what stood out to me. It’s not about losing five pounds in a week. It’s about building habits and creating a lifestyle that lasts. I’ve told Coach Kayla this so many times—this is a lifestyle I never thought was possible. You see people talk about it on Instagram or Facebook, and it always felt out of reach. But now, I’m living it.
I’m working out four to five times a week consistently, even with a desk job and all of life’s demands—family, trips, everything. I’m also tracking my meals, which used to be so difficult for me. I’ve tried Lose It and MyFitnessPal, but those apps were discouraging. I couldn’t sustain it, and I didn’t have the time to weigh every single thing I ate. The Slay Squad app is totally different. I can favorite foods, build recipes, scan items, and plan my day in advance. There’s literally no excuse not to track.
In the past, going out to dinner would completely derail my progress. But not anymore. I don’t feel restricted, and I can still enjoy life while staying on track. The combination of workouts and tracking has given me more energy—both physically and mentally. I’m at peace and I’m excited. I look forward to planning my meals and workouts. It doesn’t feel like a burden the way other programs did.
The structure of the check-ins has also been huge for me. I’ve done one-on-one coaching in the past, and those check-ins were so unstructured. I’d just say “I feel great” and move on. But with Slay Squad, the check-ins ask specific questions that force me to reflect and be honest. It holds me accountable before the coach even needs to step in. It’s exactly what I needed in my busy lifestyle, because it’s so easy to skip a workout or order takeout when you’re tired. These check-ins help you stay aligned with your goals.
There’s also flexibility and grace built into the program. I went on vacation in May for about three weeks and couldn’t track or work out the same way. But because of all the tools I had—both in the app and mentally—I didn’t feel like I lost progress. I came back and picked up right where I left off. Coach even gave me a backup workout plan—bodyweight exercises I could do in the corner of a hotel room. Again, no excuses.
What’s really changed for me isn’t just the weight. It’s the mindset. I used to make excuses—like saying I’d fast after vacation to make up for eating poorly. But now, I’m mindful, even when I’m not actively tracking. I want to maintain the progress I’ve made. I’m grateful for the physical transformation, but I’m even more thankful for the internal changes—how I think, how I feel.
You look amazing in your photos, and it shows! But what really matters is how you feel—and you can tell you’re feeling good. That’s what really counts.
Exactly. I feel great and so at peace with myself. The scale doesn’t even reflect how well I feel. I used to have terrible bloating and back pain—I even wore a back brace at my desk. I haven’t needed an acupuncture appointment in six months. The workouts have strengthened my core and back. I truly can’t imagine my life without this program. I don’t know how I went so long without it. It’s wonderful.
Would I recommend it to friends and family? Absolutely. 100%. Words can’t do it justice. I’ve tried everything—apps, coaching, you name it. This program is the most well-rounded program I’ve ever done. The support is incredible—like therapy for the body and mind. It’s taught me how to prioritize myself, live with purpose, and be proud of myself. Every day feels full now. I’ve learned resilience and how to really take care of myself.
As for the cost—yes, I hesitated at first because I wasn’t sure I’d stick with it. I’ve paid for programs before that I barely used. But this one? Worth every single penny. I regret not joining years ago. Your body and your mind are 100% worth the investment.
Exactly. It’s the most important investment you’ll ever make—because it affects everything.
I agree completely. Thank you for everything. I’m so happy to be a part of this. Thank you for supporting me and for creating something so powerful. These six months have changed my life, and I’ll carry this lifestyle with me moving forward. From the bottom of my heart—thank you.
We’re so happy for you. Watching your transformation, inside and out, has been such a joy. Thank you for being open and for sharing your story. You’ve done so well.
Thank you. Truly. I’ll never forget this journey.
